Greetings from Japan/ Hiroshima 01

I arrived in Japan on the 4th of June. This will be a six month stay with two weeks in China to sing and speak for peace. My first stop was Hiroshima where I spent two weeks. I have always wanted to visit this city. It is the place where the atomic bomb was dropped on the people of that city on August 6, 1945. I was amazed by the fact that the people of this city have a huge passion for peace. They want the story about the dropping of the bomb to be told as a way to insure that something like this never happens again. The city has become a peace center for the world and on August 6th people from around the word will gather there to remember those who died.
You will find below pictures from my visit to the Hiroshima Peace Museum. It was a powerful and personally moving experience. Here, documented are effects of the bomb on the region.
I saw survivors returning to this place to remember and to pray.

I have paged through your blog, looked at the pictures and read your comments. Pictures are exceptional and your comments are wise. Thank you for being a peace ambassador!
I found the website which introduces Shintoism very helpful.
I wish you all the best in your teaching, singing and travels.
